I've always loved the idea of hosting a cookie swap, but I've never been able to swing it over the holidays -- it's just too hectic that time of year! A friend suggested hosting one before Valentine's Day, which I think is such a great idea. By the time February rolls around, everyone has recovered from the chaotic nature of the holidays and is ready to get together again for a party.
We kept it small and intimate, with about 10 friends, and it was a great afternoon of fun! We sipped wine, snacked and swapped cookies. I made a little station to wrap up the goodies with to-go boxes, bags and decorations. It helps that I craft for a living and had most of this on hand -- ha!
