This weekend's first market of the season went really well! I had a few new goodies I tested out with the crowds, and a couple of them did really well, especially my new watermelon cards! Apparently y'all appreciate a watermelon pattern as much as I do. I love getting to meet new people and make new friends at these markets. They are so much fun. Also, my booth was parked next to a bakery booth, which was such bad/good news. They had buttery, flakey croissants for days! I knew the minute I could smell fresh bread I was in trouble. Ha! But that croissant was worth every calorie.
I'm excited to take Paige's photography workshop tonight and continue my letterpress class with Margot on Thursday! Margot gave us some homework -- to come up with a design to letterpress on 100 coasters. I want to try and sell them when I'm finished, so I thought I'd come up with a simplified map of downtown Athens to put on them. If those go well, I'll make other maps moving forward! It's going to be fun. I love working around other creatives and feeding off their energy. It is the absolute best.
I hope you have a good start to your week! -- Natty
