Do any of your scrapbook? I used to be crazy into scrapbooking. I've always been the girl with a camera in her purse -- at every party, on every trip, anywhere, everywhere. And I'm a visual person -- I love having photos to document all the great times I've had over the years with friends and family. So of course, as an artist, I'm into the idea of creating three dimensional art with those photos. I have a scrapbook I made of my college years, and another one of my wedding and honeymoon...but I can't exactly say that each page is a piece of art. My scrapbook pages were more about how many photos I could fit on a single page with pretty pieces of paper around them. There's nothing wrong with that, but I love scrapbookers out there who spend so much time on their pages that every one is frame-worthy.
Enter Stephanie Bryan of "Stephanie Makes." I stumbled across her blog via Pinterest, and I was instantly inspired. I love the way she combines beautiful photos of her family with various textures, designs, and pops of color:
Creating one of these pages and putting it into a scrapbook frame would make such a meaningful, special gift, or a great piece of artwork for the walls in your home. With the holidays coming up, I'm definitely keeping this gift idea in mind!
