Weekend

Oh, this weekend! Despite the bleak news stories and drizzle outside, it was a really good weekend in my little corner of the world. Megan's library-themed baby shower was a lot of fun, and it was great to see so many of my favorite ladies in one place! The shower decor was absolutely adorable -- most of it made by one of my dearest friends, Betsy. From the library card invites (below) to the wreath on the front door, everything was perfect and made with so much love! Megan looked beautiful, and we all can't wait to meet baby Tyler...coming into the world September 4th!
After the shower I stopped by the Mart downtown, and while I didn't have any HGTV girl crush sightings (sigh), I did have a good time seeing my mom and her friends...and an even better time shopping. I bought a few goodies to sell at my booth at Junk, then hopped over to the jewelry mart to poke around Golden Stella (if you know...you know). Golden Stella is this huge costume jewelry store that houses literally thousands and thousands of bracelets, necklaces, rings, earrings, sunglasses and bags...all at wholesale prices. It's the only place I love to shop that gives me major anxiety at the same time -- it can be overwhelming, especially if you're on a time crunch. But you can't beat the prices. If you find a pair of earrings marked $10...you buy them for $5. It is so awesome. I walked around for over an hour scouring practically every corner, and I walked away with several cute prizes...including this owl charm that I added to my bag:

How much fun is he?!

I hope you have a great start to your week!
