A wedding map + etc.

Happy Monday! A bride of mine, Katie, forwarded me these beautiful photos -- taken by her wedding photographer, Melissa Arlena -- and I wanted to share them with you guys. I love the way Melissa styled them with other pieces of their wedding stationery and their save-the-date cards! Such a great idea. (Thanks, Katie!)

This weekend was eventful in more ways than one -- my car's air conditioning went out, officially waving a white flag of surrender. My Ford Focus has been a good little car, and really hasn't given us any trouble in the past seven years (until now), so I can't complain. Getting a new car wasn't exactly on our to-do list anytime soon, but we're going to make it work! We trekked to Jasper on Saturday to see my sweet cousin and her little bun, and we met with her husband, who owns a Jeep dealership in the area. We plan to trade in our Focus tomorrow for a new Patriot, and I'm so excited! I have never owned a new car in my whole life, and I'm just thrilled to have a big trunk that I can stow my craft show tables, displays and other thrift treasures antiques junk loot around in. It's going to rock.

In other (somewhat personal) news, I am going to be starting my second round of Clomid this week. Trying to keep my chin up and stay positive as we go through another cycle and another long month of waiting and wishing and hoping, so all the positive vibes and thoughts you can send my way will be so appreciated! These next several weeks are going to keep me busy, so that's a good thing -- we have Shari and Sean's wedding this weekend, and then we leave for Vegas next weekend! Yesterday James and I were excitedly planning out our days in Sin City...and thinking about all the trouble we could get into. You know, like deciding which day we should go to In and Out Burger. Nothing but good, clean fun over here.

Have a great start to your week, friends! I think it's going to be a good one.
