Junking in Monroe

As some of y'all already know, Monroe is one of my favorite places to go treasure hunting. There are tons of antique and vintage stores around the small downtown area, and I could spend all day walking around looking for loot worthy of buying and taking home.

This time, I scooped up a vintage green Pyrex nesting bowl for $3 like this one, a Christmas John Denver album on vinyl and a couple of old school Little People (I've never seen them before for just $2 each, so I decided I had to take some home with me!). In fact, stumbling upon these little guys from my childhood inspired me to make a new Pinterest board all about vintage Fisher Price toys -- you can find that here. I love vintage FP. They just don't make them like that anymore!

James kinda wanted that book he's holding -- he said it reminded him of Will Ferrell in "Old School." That made me laugh. We always have a good time junking together. Two peas in a pod.

How was your weekend?
