Guest Curator Post: Christina of Down & Out Chic

I've been a longtime follower of Christina's blog, Down & Out Chic, and up until recently, she was an Athens resident, just like me! She has a great eye for fashion and a talent for seeking out the items that are fabulous and affordable, too. While I enjoy her posts centered around home decor and fashion, I've always admired her for the frank posts that she writes as well (like this one that I referenced last week). Today, Christina switches up the traditional fall color palette and encourages us to balance decor with an unexpected color instead -- blue.

Christina: I tend to decorate with a lot of cool colors (we've dubbed our new home "blue central") -- but this fall, I'd like to warm things up a bit. I'm feeling inspired by these gorgeous weave blankets in warm orange, mustard and ivory, offset by cool aqua. The palette's a little spicy, but the the aqua balances things nicely while still allowing the warmth of the orange and mustard to come through.
