This weekend I spent time with family and friends flown in from all parts of the country -- and the world! My cousin Amy, who lives in Philadelphia with her husband, Keith, flew to Georgia with her sweet baby, Penny, and I could hardly wait to see her -- she's changed a lot since the last time I saw her. Penny's the first baby to come into the family in a long time, so we all fuss over each other to hold and play with her when she's in town.
A family friend, Edith and her niece, Emma, flew all the way from Hong Kong to see Amy and Alison, (my cousins), for the first time in many, many years! Edith was their nanny in England when she was only 19, and the girls were in elementary school. It was so much fun to see my family, spend time with them, and share some laughs. And, who can resist those chipmunk cheeks on baby Penny? She is one chunk of love that I wish I could see more often.
