Photo Galleries

I am so inspired by John and Sherry's gallery hallway that I'm thinking about making one of my own on our stairway wall. I love the way they mixed and matched frames, mat sizes, photos and artwork. I think my favorite piece in the gallery is a small square canvas that Sherry used to mount a vintage bottle cap find from their first house. (I always wondered what people did with teeny tiny canvases). The question is, where on earth do you find this many fabulous white frames in varying shapes and sizes?! If anyone has the answer, please let me know...

  1. Spray paint is your friend! Just scour thrift stores for all the frames you can find. Then hit up Target, Michael's, etc and spray away.

I love this look too and wish I had a hallway to do it in. I may settle for doing a gallery of frames around my tv, to help it not stand out so much.

  2. Yes, Ikea. I bought a ton in different sizes that I still haven't hung yet. They have many sizes and great prices.

I love hearing from you! Please check back if you ask a question, as I'm likely to answer you here.
