Last weekend, before the rain came, we enjoyed grilling outside on a breezy, somewhat chilly evening. We suddenly noticed the greenery coming back on the trees behind our house, which was very exciting after seeing only bare branches for so many months. Hooray for spring!

A rainy Saturday morning inspired us to hit the consignment shops and thrift stores in Athens, and I found the best treasure...a 1960s shift dress, in perfect condition, for only $22! I was a little giddy over my find.

Oh, and we couldn't pass up some jelly beans when we went to the store. Jelly beans look so pretty in a candy dish. But not too pretty to eat...

  1. LOVE your pictures. Sounds like a fun weekend. I'm right there with you - I love how green everything is now, and the beautiful wild flowers are popping up everywhere!! Yay for spring! :)

  2. I have been craving some jelly beans. I think you just sent me over the edge.
