House Guests

This weekend, my parents and aunt and uncle came to visit James and me in Athens. I fixed a tasty menu of BLT sandwiches, potato salad, and kettle cooked potato chips. I made a pound cake for dessert and served it with ice cream and fresh strawberries, too. Yum. It was fun to break out my new Vera tablecloth and napkins, and finally use them! Vera makes such pretty things.

My aunt and uncle bought us the most gorgeous fountain from Ballard Designs as a housewarming gift. I can't wait to fill it up with river rocks and watch the birds take a dip in it this spring! Bianca had a good time hanging out with the family, too. As you can see from the last picture, she decided to investigate the table and see if any crumbs were left over from lunch while we were gone that afternoon. James and I had a good laugh over her little grocery store feet (paw prints) that gave her away.

I hope you all are enjoying your weekends! xo
