20. Warm up with a hot doughnut and hot chocolate at the old 1930s Krispy Kreme on Ponce de Leon Avenue during Christmastime

James and I crossed the first item off my Atlanta Bucket List* last Friday! We went to Fernbank's "Martini's and IMAX," and had a great little date. The live band was excellent, and we enjoyed two tasty martinis (apple for James, gingerbread for me) while gazing up in awe at the looming dinosaur skeletons above us. We wandered around, walked through my favorite room at Fernbank, The Star Gallery, and made our way upstairs to the theater for the show. The IMAX movie, Mystery of the Nile, was fantastic - but at times, I felt a little dizzy, and was secretly thankful all I had to drink was one martini...

*You may notice that there are a few new items added to my Bucket List. A couple fellow Atlantans pointed out other local attractions that I shouldn't miss out on before my move in January, and I happily tacked them on to the bottom of the list! Many thanks, my dears!

  3. Just stumbled on your blog via a recommendation that I follow you on twitter, and I have to share my two cents: Dekalb Farmer's Market is a must! once you visit, you'll keep returning over and over and over and over... even if it's a 45 minute journey to get there, like it was for me!
