My plate wall!

Dun da dun! My plate wall! The plates include a peacock that I painted myself locally at Wired & Fired, two plates featuring strawberries that I've collected over time, and an oval antique plate adorned with flowers that was my great great grandmother's! (I hope it never falls - eek!) The fish in the front kind of gives it a certain direction, don't you think? I had to hang a few of my little Fiestaware plates for now until I can find some other unique plates to hang in their places. But on the upside, I now officially have a new thing to hunt for at thrift stores and estate sales...plates. Pretty, pretty plates. Yay!

  1. Oh my god I love it! So cute!
You're blog always makes my day and is my #1 go-to when I need a smile.

  2. oh my gosh, how exciting! i'm definitely going to mention this w/my next plate wall post. it's awesome!

  3. Oh my...I got that same fish plate for Christmas! My mom bought it at a pottery show and I hung it on my wall to add to my plate collection. TJ Max has some very fun plates to mix in a collection to add a little bit of funkiness to a collection.

  4. Natalie, have you ever been to My Favorite Place on Peachtree in Chamblee. It's near my house and it's a fantastic place to find quirky, fun, and cheap vintage stuff! We should go!
